Cinderella Man
Well, we've got to catch up on those Oscar movies sometime! This past weekend was time to watch Cinderella Man, a movie about boxing legend Jim Braddock, who fought his way out of some tough spots during the Depression.
We liked it! It's an inspiring movie, along the lines of Seabiscuit, but most touching was Jim Braddock's dedication to his family and values. Also loved the fact that Braddock was from Jersey -- and the large role that Madison Square Garden played in the movie!
Paul Giamatti as Jim Braddock's agent/coach is fantastic -- hope he wins the Oscar this year!
