Bunty and Babli go to Bollywood

For the 3rd round of our February Foreign Food and Film Fest, we decided to go Bollywood, and watch the 2005 hit Bunty aur Babli.

Attractions included watching the most famous Bollywood star of all time - Amitabh Bachchan (on whom there was appropriately a New York Times article on Feb 12th) - and a hit number by 'most beee-yootiful woman in the world' - Aishwarya Rai.

Watching the Big B's son (Abhishek Bachchan) in probably his best role, and the bubbly Babli (Rani Mukherjee) were also a treat.

By the end of the night, the girls were attempting some of Ash's dance moves, and the guys were re-playing Ash's dance number (for the benefit of the girls, of course)! A thoroughly enjoyable way to spend a brain-dead Friday evening.
